The “InScreen” insect screen for QuinLine® lift-and-slide doors blends discreetly into the lift-and-slide door system. With no trip hazard, it is perfectly colour-coordinated with the lift-and-slide door and seamlessly integrated into the overall design. The frame of the pleated insect screen is integrated into the fixed sash and the threshold construction. This ensures maximum functionality without a trip hazard in the passageway, minimal profile visibility and an unobstructed view when closed.

Consistent colour scheme

To ensure a harmonious overall look, the InScreen insect screen is colour-matched precisely to the respective QuinLine® lift-and-slide door. The handle strip and frame of the pleated cassette are available either with a film finish or RAL powder-coated (white/cream white). This allows the insect screen to blend discreetly and almost invisibly into the overall design.

Simple plug-and-play installation. Also available as a retrofit option.

The InScreen insect screen stands out thanks to its exceptionally simple plug-and-play installation – both as a factory-fitted option and as a retrofit solution. With the factory-fitted solution, the QuinLine® lift-and-slide door is pre-fitted at the factory so that the pleated screen simply needs to be clipped into place by the fitter. No drilling, no screwing – and installed in just a few simple steps. Retrofitting is also straightforward: first, the threshold cover is replaced, then the InScreen frame on both sides is fitted, into which the pleated screen is inserted. This means that the InScreen insect screen can be easily retrofitted even to existing QuinLine® lift-and-slide doors.

InScreen installation instructions (factory-fitted)

Step 1
Insert the InScreen pleated cassette into the top guide rail and then swing it into the guide groove of the threshold structure.

Step 2
Then clip the pleated blind cassette into the pre-fitted clip holders on the integration profile in the fixed sash (you will hear it click into place).

Step 3
Release the profile that is magnetically attached to the handle strip and guide it evenly through the guide rails until it reaches the frame.

Step 4
Secure the profile in the frame’s mounting groove using the pre-fitted clips (you will hear it click into place). The InScreen pleated blind can now be opened and closed smoothly.

When will the InScreen insect screen be available to order?

We are currently preparing our production lines for the new processes and setting up all the necessary tools. The ‘ex-works’ solution, whereby we prepare the lift-and-slide door to the extent that the pleated blind assembly simply needs to be clipped into place on site, is expected to be available to order from mid-April. Delivery can therefore take place from early to mid-May 2026.

Can the InScreen be ordered directly alongside the lift-and-slide door?

Yes. When placing a new order, the window fitter simply selects the InScreen version. The measurements, colour matching and configuration are handled automatically. The pleated blind package is delivered as a plug-and-play set together with the door.

Can I fit InScreen into my existing QuinLine® lift-and-slide door?

Yes! InScreen is also available as a retrofit solution for existing QuinLine® lift-and-slide doors. Using the order number from the original project, we will determine all the necessary measurements. The handle strip and frame will be colour-matched precisely to your existing lift-and-slide door, ensuring that InScreen blends seamlessly into the overall look.

Do I need to take measurements for the retrofit?

Not usually – as the dimensions of the QuinLine® are known from the order number of the original project. A measurement sheet is only required if no documentation is available.

What happens if the pleated insect screen gets damaged?

Should the pleated blind on your InScreen ever become damaged, the pleated blind cassette can simply be reordered. As the dimensions and colours are already known from the original order, replacement is straightforward: the fitter simply releases the old cassette from the clip fittings and clips the new one into place – with minimal effort. In most cases, this is the more cost-effective solution compared to sending the existing pleated blind in for repair.
